Maybe just to get people's attention.

They also had a special, selling gas for $3.09 the last few days to get rid of it before closing up (other stations in the area were at minimum in the $3.30's, some up to $3.50's).BillyGrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15279813135042821835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4842206651158755326.post-21450642824961740402019-05-04T12:15:38.946-04:002019-05-04T12:15:38.946-04:00Interesting, thanks for the correction.
Right, I ...Interesting, thanks for the correction.

Right, I think that the corporate ownership has a role in the gas station presence, since there are only three corporate SRS stores in New Jersey. As for the full service part, this article says the Albany location also offers full service -- I wonder whether they have kept this or cut it for cost reasons. Do you know?

https://www.bizjournals.com/albany/blog/2012/10/shoprite-gas-station-offers-1950s.htmlZacharyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13474240202879870641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4842206651158755326.post-7422656788742063902019-05-03T19:47:13.713-04:002019-05-03T19:47:13.713-04:00Actually 2 gas stations in the Albany market - one...Actually 2 gas stations in the Albany market - one is separate from their Albany store (just down the street and one that existed before they did and they just took over) and one at the Colonie store that was built with the store.

One might guess that they never went into this as much being based in NJ with the rules that still require full service, although one could say the two in NY are sort of corporate (being those stores are a corporate subsidiary...).BillyGrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15279813135042821835noreply@blogger.com
