Across the street from the Brodheadsville ShopRite (and the former Brodheadsville ShopRite) is this Weis, which at 67,000 square feet is nearly 30,000 square feet smaller than the Brodheadsville ShopRite but is still a fairly large supermarket. It was constructed in 1999 as a Weis-owned Mr. Z's, then converted to Weis 10 years later. Mr. Z's moved from an older location in town in 1999 to build this store, and Weis has done a major interior and exterior renovation since opening (see the previous facade here). That wraps up our Stroudsburg group, and we have a day off tomorrow but the following day we'll be starting with our next set of stores -- just to the west of here in the Coal Region!
