ALDI Food Market Opened: 2022 Previous Tenants:  none Location:  115 Ziegler Rd, Lewisburg, PA Photographed:  August 15, 2022 Today we're looking at the ALDI in Lewisburg, PA, just about a mile and a half north of the Weis we saw yesterday. This store opened as a new-build location in 2022, so it's very new -- so new, in fact, that it doesn't yet show up on aerial photographs of the area on Google Maps. Unfortunately Lewisburg doesn't have a lot of interest to look at grocery store-wise (it's a very pleasant town for other reasons), but there is an independent store that I found very interesting just about six miles north. We're headed there tomorrow, so stay tuned on The Independent Edition !

Weis Markets Opened: 1995 Previous Tenants:  none Location:  6901 Westbranch Hwy, Lewisburg, PA Photographed:  August 15, 2022 Today's snapshot is a quick look at the Weis Markets in Lewisburg, opened as a new-build Weis in 1995. It looks like the store was expanded out the left side at some point later. Today, the store is a total of around 58,000 square feet. It also has the latest decor package, which we can see just a little bit of in this picture on Google Maps . Lewisburg, which is home to Bucknell University, also has a GIANT about a mile south. There also was previously a Save-A-Lot just over half a mile north, which was owned by Weis, in a former ACME. The other grocery store in Lewisburg is an ALDI, about a mile and a half north on Westbranch Highway. We'll be taking a look at that store tomorrow, right here on The Market Report!
