Wegmans Food Markets Opened: 2009 Previous Tenants: none Location: 2281 Carl D Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg, VA Photographed: January 2022 We are here in Fredericksburg, VA , a city of many historical landmarks -- and a 136,000 square foot Wegmans! I unfortunately was only passing through briefly, so we only have this one store and no coverage of the historical landmarks. (No streetside sights here.) This Wegmans, which opened in 2009 and has probably been renovated once since then, is quite beautiful and absolutely enormous. The layout is pretty standard for what you'd expect in a Wegmans. We enter to the produce department, with prepared foods in the front right corner and deli/bakery lining the right side wall. Seafood/meat are in the back right corner, with dairy along the rest of the back wall. Frozen is somewhere in the middle of the store, with a liquor store in the front left corner. Pharmacy is in an island in the first grocery aisle. This one is another night...
