We're around 16 miles northwest of Port Jervis, 42 miles east of Scranton, and 43 miles west of Newburgh. And in this region, there are very few large towns, and very, very few supermarkets. Several of the supermarkets in this area, though, are part of the Peck's Market chain, which is affiliated with IGA. I don't have much information on the history of the roughly 14,000 square foot building, but it was built before 1966 and expanded to its present size between 1995 and 2004 -- much later than I thought. Now here's where the history gets interesting. The original building was just 6,000 square feet, and only on the right side of the building (the expansion was out the left side, if we look at my exterior picture).
