The Waban Market - Newton, MA

The Waban Market Opened: 1986 under current ownership; ca. 1950s previously Owner:  Yan Kaganov Previous Tenants:  unknown Cooperative:  none Location:  10 Windsor Rd, Waban, MA Photographed:  January 12, 2025 Right off the bat, you can tell these pictures weren't from the summer of 2019! Sure, you can point to the better picture quality or the fact that, if you go into the file's metadata, you can see it was taken with a cell phone that quite literally didn't exist in 2019. I've visited many, but not all, of the supermarkets in this area (my coverage is spotty the farther out from Boston and the train line you get). We're going to start in Chestnut Hill right near the Brookline border, then a stop in Needham and then through the Newton Highlands area. We'll pass through Newton Centre and Waban in the central area of Newton, then to Auburndale to the northwest, and finally end up in Newtonville in the no...
