ALDI Food Market Opened: late 1990s Previous Tenants:  Festival Foods Location:  3437 Simpson Ferry Rd, Camp Hill, PA Photographed:  August 13, 2022 Not even half a mile from yesterday's Trader Joe's is this ALDI, located in part of what was previously a Festival Foods , albeit a short-lived one (only 1995-1996). Today the 23,000 square foot store has a very simple version of the current decor package, with the bones of the previous one still very visible. That's all for this week, and next week we're finishing up the Harrisburg area with Mechanicsburg, Enola, and Millersburg with our first Mechanicsburg stop here on The Market Report next Monday!

Trader Joe's Opened:  2022 Previous Tenants:  none Location:  3545 Gettysburg Rd, Camp Hill, PA Photographed:  August 13, 2022 Moving outside of the city of Harrisburg, we find this newly-built Trader Joe's in Camp Hill, also home to the well-known flagship store of GIANT Food Stores (unfortunately, I did not make it to the Camp Hill GIANT). The 13,000 square foot store is... well, a Trader Joe's. For better or worse, nearly every Trader Joe's is the same. This commercial development is built on a strip that used to include The Bon-Ton and Borders. Tomorrow we have another chain store here in Camp Hill, right here on The Market Report!
