Here's a quick look at the upcoming Food Bazaar on Myrtle Ave in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. The roughly 40,000 square foot store replaces a store of just around 13,000 square feet, which opened in the 90s or early 00s as a Food Dimensions (the name Food Bazaar previously used for its smaller, no-frills-type stores -- this store didn't even have a deli). We're about 2/3 mile south of the Williamsburg store, and maybe a mile and a half from the other Bushwick store and one in Ridgewood, Queens. I took the above picture from the sidewalk outside a new Shop Fair, opened in late 2022, and around a block and a half east from a Junior's Food Outlet-turned-Western Beef. There's a lot more to see this weekend, too!
