This former Stop & Shop (which was itself a former Grand Union) moved across Route 23 to the Kinnelon Mall when S&S took over the Pathmark in the A&P bankruptcy.
It's the same style as the GU-turned-S&S-turned-Met Fresh in
Nyack, NY that we saw a while ago, except that store's facade had been redone by Met Fresh. This store is in pretty sad condition, but I doubt another supermarket would be interested in taking it over. Maybe a Foodtown or IGA, but we're well out of the immediate NYC surroundings here, making Key Food/Krasdale/ASG/AFB operators very unlikely.
