We're moving closer to home for today's Snapshot, a former A&P in West Orange. There were multiple A&Ps in town at one time, including one in a current CVS at 217 Main St. This one has since been subdivided, but retains its basic A&P facade. Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange occupies the left half of the building, while the right side has several smaller businesses.
Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange also has a greenhouse section to the left of the store, which would probably have been additional parking for A&P.
