It's time for our first Trader Joe's in a while! Our contributor Lars brings us this store, which opened in 2005 and takes up around 11,000 square feet in a strip mall just across from the Westfarms mall, although I don't know the history of this building or if there was previously another supermarket in this spot or elsewhere in this strip mall.
Inside, it looks much like other Trader Joe's, although this one does have a slightly older feeling -- is it the darker floor? I feel like most of the newer Trader Joe's I'm seeing have light concrete floors.
And a look at the front-end...
We're very close to the city of Hartford here, but before we go into the city, there's one more western CT stop we need to make! We're going to be heading around 15 miles northwest of the city for our final western CT store tomorrow!
