Quick look at the ALDI here in South Brunswick at Heritage Plaza, which was previously a Best Buy electronics store. The ShopRite in town was newly built just 800 feet away in 2019, but this strip mall had existed previously. Check out the interior here. One of the biggest ironies is how similar the angular ALDI facade is to Best Buy's.
ReplyDeleteHere, it looks right. I've seen Aldi take over other for other stores and the lightly-modded facades don't look nearly as right.
DeleteRight -- I think the designs work together harmoniously, which is a pleasant coincidence.
