The Giant Food at Seven Corners in Falls Church is the largest DC area we've seen so far, at over 70,000 square feet. It was a Shoppers Food until 2019, and Giant appears to have opened in 2020. It's a very attractive interior, too, designed by our friends at Off the Wall. Tomorrow we'll be heading to another interesting retail reuse, over on The Independent Edition!
Yeah, that interior is a big no for me. I much prefer the latest from the Giant PA stores.

DeleteIt does seem a bit different - not sure if it is exclusive to them or just newer, doesn't look like anything in Stop & Shop (though if newer it may just be that I haven't been in one in a bit to see what they have done recently).
ReplyDeleteYeah, this decor package is not being used in Stop & Shop. I haven't exactly confirmed whether or not Off the Wall is doing the Giants, but they're definitely doing Stop & Shop stores. DeleteI really like the interior look here and at the other remodeled Giant stores in this chain. Better than Stop & Shops remodeled stores. Out of all the Ahold Delhaize divisions, I think Hannaford has the best looking remodeled stores, their decor in the newer and remodeled and locations is very nice.
