Happy October?

If anyone saw the "Happy October!" notice at the top of yesterday's post, I have now realized (to my surprise) that it is, as a matter of fact, not yet October. I apologize to anyone who may have read that and begun their Halloween shopping already.

Because I write most posts in advance, and sometimes reschedule them, time-sensitive content such as that can sometimes be posted at the wrong time. I usually try to proofread, but errors such as that can slip through the cracks. If you ever see something like that in the future, don't hesitate to let me know!

  1. Funny... I read your post yesterday and didn't catch that! That happens to me all the time. I schedule my posts probably two months in advance now, so there's quite some time between the drafting table and the live article. When I publish my post sometimes, I immediately catch errors (especially town names).

And hey, you weren't wrong about the Halloween shopping. My Stop & Shop started carrying Candy Corn and masks in JULY.

    1. That's CRAZY. No one needs to be doing Halloween shopping that early! What happened to back-to-school -- was that over by the time of final exams in June?!

    2. No, that was after Christmas-- when Valentine's Day items were already off the shelves. Ridiculous.
