  1. Hi Zachary,

I was going through your blog and saw this post. I figure this would be a good place to clarify the following: On Flickr, where I go by the user name of "A&P Fan," it's possible that you'll see a comment that is identical (or close to identical) to something I wrote on your blog. Please note that if a comment I wrote on your blog matches something that you see on Flickr, it's because I'm merely copying myself. (For instance, if I've researched the history of a supermarket and posted about it on your blog, I may also post the same history on Flickr.) If I research something and post about it on your blog, I consider it to be my own work. Please be assured that I would never take your work--or the work of somebody else who leaves a comment on your blog--and claim it as my own. In the event that I discuss something that is not my own work, I'll of course cite it and give the proper credit (in any relevant discussion that takes place elsewhere).

Also, although I haven't posted on Groceteria.com in a very long time, it's possible that I may do so again. My user name on that site was/is "Max," which was also my user name on Acme Style.

I hope there's no confusion and that all of this is OK with you. Thanks again for all that you do.

    Sincerely,

    A&P Fan

    1. Rest assured that this does not in any way apply to you! I had someone on Facebook a while back actually write to me to learn more about one of my posts, which naturally I was happy to provide, then pass off my work as their own. As you can probably imagine, that made me pretty mad, hence this post. I'm always happy to hear from you and I'm not concerned at all about you plagiarizing anything!

    2. Zachary, I really appreciate your response.

I'm very sorry to read about the experience you had. It's terrible that somebody would try to take advantage of your generosity in that way.

Your blogs represent so much hard work, and it is a joy to be able to contribute to the discussions about the many different supermarkets (and former supermarkets) that you profile.

      Sincerely,

      A&P Fan
