Our contributor Oliver G. brings us a look today at the ShopRite of Manchester, CT. Similar to the last store, this one seems to have its roots either as a Mott's ShopRite or a replacement for one. When they were taken over by Wakefern's corporate division, SRS, quite a few were determined to be too small to keep, but multiple expansions have brought this store's size to over 60,000 square feet. The previous facade was the typical SRS model facade, which is still in place in the Clark, NJ location. Oliver caught the store after its 2018 renovation, which not only remodeled the exterior but redesigned the interior, which you can see here: produce, dairy, deli. This is to the southeast of the city of Hartford, where Oliver lives. He's seeing about getting pictures of more Hartford area stores, so we may be getting more coverage soon!
