We've seen Harvest Co-Op's former location in Jamaica Plain, and now it's time for a look at their other closed location at Central Square in Cambridge. The local cooperatively owned natural food store chain went under in 2018. This store had only opened in 2012, moving from what's now H Mart across the street. This was a very small storefront, though, probably not more than a couple hundred square feet. The space is now a cannabis store. Just a block west, another small grocer recently closed -- Daily Table, a nonprofit chain, which you can see here. And tomorrow we're headed to the north for a look at the Whole Foods at Central Square!
