Just a few days ago, we saw the DeCicco of Katonah, residing in an un-expanded A&P centennial. There was another similar store up in this area, although this store was expanded by just a few thousand square feet by A&P, bringing it to its present 18,500 square feet. When A&P went out of business in 2015, this and around 20 other Hudson Valley stores were sold to ACME. As of my 2021 visit, the store had yet to receive any Quality Built decor (even as ACME's few Connecticut stores did) and I don't believe the store has been renovated since. But ACME is making its presence known here with promotional signage and one other thing. I didn't even catch it when I was in store, I'm only noticing it now while writing the post. Can you see what other ACME decor element is in store here?
The aisle markers are Premium Fresh & Healthy! I wouldn't be surprised if they're secondhand from a closed or remodeled store, although
one acquired A&P store did get the full PF&H 3.0 decor package, so it's possible they were new.
The store is definitely small, and its latest A&P Fresh 2.0 renovation doesn't seem to have been that extensive. I would guess the expansion happened well before the Fresh remodel. Produce is in the front right corner, with dairy on the rest of the first aisle and on the back wall. Meats are in the last aisle, with frozen foods in the second-to-last aisle and some on the back wall. A tiny corner with seafood, bakery, and deli is in the front left corner. There's no service seafood here, though.
We can see the decor package here is very simple. Compare this to the
same decor in a deluxe store like Kenilworth, which is
also now an ACME.
As we can see, the store is small but not tiny. The fixtures and just the general facility are obviously all outdated, though.
ACME replaced the lighting when they moved in, though. A&P would've had lights attached to the inside of those panels at the tops of the grocery shelves.
The aisles don't feel unusually cramped, they feel plenty wide even though they're small.
We can tell the frozen foods cases are old, though...
It looks like some of these meat cases may have been painted in the last aisle, though.
Here's the service departments, with deli, bakery, and seafood packed into this little corner of the store.
Here we see there's neither service seafood nor butcher, although it looks like there may previously have been something there no longer is where those packaged baked goods and coffee packs are.
There is, remarkably, a service in-store bakery in this tiny corner though.
The deli is on the front wall, and the entrance is actually behind the deli. You then walk across the front of the store to produce on the right side -- a very old-school layout.

The Goldens Bridge ACME is charming for its A&P history, but it really is in need of an update to be functional as a modern supermarket. We're almost done with our very fast look at Westchester County, with two stores tomorrow!
