Location:  437 Franklin Ave, Nutley, NJ Photographed:  June 5, 2025 In addition to a look at the new Hillside SuperFresh, I've got two more awesome ShopRite remodels to show you. Several ShopRite operators have really been giving their all for new stores and renovations lately, and these are absolutely top-of-the-line stores. See Watchung  and  Rochelle Park , among many others, for example. Here in Nutley, we're back to check out the completed -- and extremely impressive -- remodel after seeing it almost  done back in November. When I visited in November, the decor was almost fully installed, but all the finishing touches weren't up yet. If you compare these pictures to the ones linked above, you can see there's some text and accents that hadn't yet been installed. That's true in the pharmacy, which now has some fun vines. SuperFresh Food World Opened: July 2016 Owner:  Howard Lee Previous Tenants:  Pathmark (1970s-2015) Cooperative:  Key Food Stores Location:  115 Belmont Ave, Belleville, NJ Photographed:  February 20, 2025 It's time for a quick return to the SuperFresh Food World in Belleville. Not a whole lot has changed since our last visit , but the minor work that was going on seems to be mostly done. In the front-right corner of the store, what was originally a bakery and liquor store is now a pharmacy and a large kitchenwares department. In the latest reset, after the liquor store closed, kitchenwares were moved out of the aisles and into this greatly-expanded department. An enormous selection of utensils and pots and pans lines the front wall, with small appliances and other items in short aisles in front of it.
