(Knowing Key Food, it's entirely possible it'll actually open under a different name but still be connected to Key Food.) The supermarket will be around 17,000 square feet, so substantial but not that big. The interior build-out doesn't seem to have started yet, but the building is complete so now it's up to the supermarket operator. Who will run this Key Food? We're back in Marine Park in southern Brooklyn to check in on the remodel at the tiny supermarket here. You can see previous coverage here . It appears to be done (I think?) with remodeling -- although there's still a lot that seems unfinished, it doesn't look like any more work is going on. New shelving for snacks and bread, along with a case for fresh rolls, has been added to the front-right corner of the store. Produce and frozen are in the first aisle on the right side, with the rest of frozen lining the back wall.
