This awkwardly-phrased "beauty bar" was spotted at an antique store in White Haven, PA in 2019.

To this day, my grandmother still has a box of America's Choice instant oatmeal in her pantry. Given her local Pathmark's tendency to keep products on the shelves well after they expired, it's not unlikely that it expired before Pathmark went under. Interesting. This is from an even older package of instant oatmeal that she also had. I always liked the circular America's Choice logo and I didn't think the banner version was an improvement.

We're heading out to Dover, NJ, in Morris County. The area becomes more and more rural as you head west, but Dover is a fairly large town or small city. It's also a straight shot from NYC on Route 80 about an hour. In downtown Dover is this building, home to a Bravo Supermarket on the first floor. (Bravo is part of White Plains, NY-based Krasdale Foods, which also runs C-Town Supermarkets.) Dover is also home to a former Acme and a former Food Fair in the same strip. Dover's downtown struggled when shopping centers opened in nearby Rockaway, causing many of the chain stores to leave. It has recently been revitalized as a center for the Hispanic population of Morris County, explaining the presence of Bravo. This store has parking in the rear, and entrances/exits on both sides. These young whippersnappers today... OK, not like that. But I did come across a reminder of A&P in my grandmother's house... Hmm. Somehow the idea of buying "small garbage" isn't overly appealing to me. Maybe it's just me. Of course, Greenway products are now available at Foodtown and other Allegiance affiliates. But they're not the original ones distributed by OnPoint, Inc at 1 Paragon Dr in Montvale, NJ!
