Rockland Foodservice Opened: ca. 2010 in current location Owner:  Kenneth Pierce Previous Tenants:  unknown Cooperative:  none Location:  195 Park St, Rockland, ME Photographed:  August 16, 2019 This 8500 square foot building just outside Rockland, ME has the look of an old supermarket, but I haven't been able to confirm that. These days, it's home to Rockland Foodservice , a small wholesale grocer that sells mostly to foodservice small businesses. Tomorrow, we're headed into downtown Rockland for a look at a small grocery store there!

Redner's Warehouse Market Open: 1997-2022 Previous Tenants:  Clemens (1976-1996) Location:  701 S West End Blvd Photographed:  January 12, 2019 Contributor:  Lucas from Grocery Voice Lucas is bringing us another store tour today, this one of the Redner's in Quakertown! I've unfortunately never been to Quakertown myself, but I'm glad Lucas has, given that this Redner's closed last year. This is the first good tour of a warehouse-style Redner's we've had, as compared to their Fresh Market concept. The 56,000 square foot store looks fairly typical of the warehouse stores, from what I understand although my experience with Redner's is limited regardless. Aisles run parallel to the front wall, with produce at the front, perishables on the back wall, and frozen foods in the second-to-last aisle. Seabra Foods Owner:  Antonio Seabra Opened:  2019 Previous Tenants:  Pathmark > ACME Cooperative:  none Location:  281-295 Ferry St, Ironbound, Newark, NJ Photographed:  August 2019 It's our third time visiting this store in the Ferry Plaza in the Ironbound neighborhood of Newark! We've previously seen it as an ACME and then closed while being prepared for Seabra . Today, we get to tour the flagship Seabra location, and the fourth Seabra in the Ironbound. See the Chestnut Street location and the other Ferry Street location on the blog as well! You might notice the low airplane in the above picture... we're less than a mile and a half from the Newark Airport, one of three international airports serving New York City. It's also the largest airport in New Jersey. And if anyone from out-of-state has had an unpleasant experience at the dinosaur of an airport, don't worry, we hate it too.
