Snapshot: Redner's Warehouse Markets - Shenandoah, PA

Redner's Warehouse Market Opened: 1990s Previous Tenants: none Location: 1 Gold Star Hwy, Shenandoah, PA Photographed: November 29, 2019 Today's store is a very quick look at a Redner's in Shenandoah, a roughly 47,000 square foot warehouse-type store. It's the larger of two supermarkets in Shenandoah, and also has a pharmacy in a separate but connected storefront next door, along with a gas station in front. The store is about a mile out of downtown Shenandoah, where there's another smaller supermarket. We'll be touring that store tomorrow right here on The Market Report!

TOUR: Redner's Warehouse Markets - Quakertown, PA

Redner's Warehouse Market Open: 1997-2022 Previous Tenants:  Clemens (1976-1996) Location:  701 S West End Blvd Photographed:  January 12, 2019 Contributor:  Lucas from Grocery Voice Lucas is bringing us another store tour today, this one of the Redner's in Quakertown! I've unfortunately never been to Quakertown myself, but I'm glad Lucas has, given that this Redner's closed last year. This is the first good tour of a warehouse-style Redner's we've had, as compared to their Fresh Market concept. The 56,000 square foot store looks fairly typical of the warehouse stores, from what I understand although my experience with Redner's is limited regardless. Aisles run parallel to the front wall, with produce at the front, perishables on the back wall, and frozen foods in the second-to-last aisle. The interior here is clearly much lower-end in appearance and setup than the Fresh Market stores, and the focus is value. The displays are simple and the selection i...

TOUR: Redner's Fresh Market - Wyomissing, PA

Redner's Fresh Market Opened: 2019 Previous Tenants:  Redner's Warehouse Markets (1991-2019) Location:  1149 Berkshire Blvd, Wyomissing, PA Photographed:  August 20, 2019 We're here in Wyomissing to check out our second Redner's Fresh Market! This 60,000 square foot store was built by Redner's in 1991 as a Redner's Warehouse Market, then converted to the higher-end Fresh Market format in 2019. The store might not be quite as impressive as Audubon , a really beautiful store, but this is by its own right an impressive grocery store. How about this -- an automated frozen yogurt machine, located right inside the entrance of the store? There's also a coffee bar and other types of similar amenities. The produce department is in the front right corner along with bakery. The Wall of Values is on the right side of the store, with meat, seafood, and deli on the back wall. Frozen/dairy are on the left side with a Beer & Wine Cafe in the front left corner. The groc...
