One opened up in part of a former Bed Bath & Beyond in Framingham, MA last December, and I recently got to check it out while in Massachusetts last week. Within a few days, I heard the news that I'd all but guessed when I visited: after less than a year, this store is set to close this month . The beautiful store measures around 25,000 square feet, and this is the newest Fresh Market I've been to. (See an example of a slightly older one here .) The store opened in 2006, and the 23,000 square foot gourmet supermarket appears to be very similar to other Fresh Market locations we've seen, although I haven't actually been to the store myself. Looks like we enter to a coffee/tea area in the middle of the store, with produce on the right side. In the typical Fresh Market layout, deli is in an island at the back of the store, with meat, seafood, and bakery on the back wall. I commented on the store execution improving in the post of the Bedminster Fresh Market , although I do think execution (as far as product mix and quality) varies greatly between the different stores. This one is another very well-done store, which was built new in 2016 on the ground floor of this complex. The store is in the range of 25,000 square feet, and I believe takes up the entire ground floor of this new building. The whole development is very attractively designed, and intended to tie into the historic, quaint Germantown Avenue business district -- the street of which is paved with cobblestones.
