Orange Farmers Market
Opened: 2000
A long seafood display case was in the process of being rolled into the store and off this truck when I recently stopped by. The store is only 6,000 square feet, so it's quite small. But there are a few aisles of produce, about three grocery aisles, and some dairy and frozen foods. The new seafood counter is going into the back of the store.
The old-school store has gotten some updates since I last visited, but the seafood department is the main change. The shelving at the back of the store had been cleared out to make way for the new display case, which I assume is to be installed here along the back wall.
New grocery shelving in the aisles, too, since my last visit. I believe the lighting has also been replaced. The Super Supermarket in Orange is just around the corner, and has also recently gotten some updates. You can see that post and a lot more in the links at the end of this post!
Some very old fashioned coolers are in the last aisle here, though. But as you can see, the store is clean and bright.

Super Supermarket has a service seafood department, too, and just about two doors down from this store is a freestanding fish market that also does take-out seafood meals. I'll be back to check it out once the changes are done here! More for this weekend...
