Bennington is home to three big-chain grocery stores, a Hannaford and a Price Chopper (plus an ALDI I don't have pictures of). I haven't been inside either, so this post will be quick. The Hannaford is around 54,000 square feet, built in the 1990s (and it doesn't appear to have previously been a Shop 'n Save, though I'm not certain of that). Here's a look inside.

I figured this picture of the Price Chopper was bad enough that it didn't even deserve its own post. This store is a bit larger than the Hannaford, measuring around 60,000 square feet. Here's what the outside actually looks like, and a look inside. It looks very similar to basically any circa-2000-build Price Chopper. Tomorrow, we're going to check out a lot of the corner stores here in Bennington before moving on!
